How do I book your services?

Booking with WOOFYWORLD is easy! You can click the “Inquire Now” button on the home page or throughout the website or click the link in our instagram bio to fill out the enquiry form. This will give us all your relevant information and we'll be delighted to assist you in scheduling your pet's care from here.

How far in advance should I book your services?

To ensure availability, it's best to book as early as possible, especially during peak travel seasons or holidays. First, view our “Availability” page to check your desired dates are available, contact in, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your pet care needs. Keep in mind WOOFYWORLD is currently one-woman owned and operated, so space is limited! Rest assured, we strive to ensure your pet's well-being and happiness no matter the circumstances.. If we aren’t able to accomodate you this time, please keep us in mind next time and follow our instagram page for regular updates.

How do you ensure the safety of my pet and my home?

Your pet's safety and the security of your home is WOOFYWORLD’s top priority. As a professional petsitter, Nicole has years of experience and is fully committed to providing reliable and trustworthy care. Nicole has a clear and valid Police Check by InterCheck Australia, and has completed basic animal first aid training by RSPCA NSW. Other petsitters paired with you by Nicole, also hold their own indemnity and public liability insurances and have completed recent Police Checks.

Can you look after my puppy?

WOOFYWORLD’s services are best suited to cats and dogs that are both potty trained and can be left alone for a few hours if necessary. If your puppy requires round the clock care and/or is not yet house trained - we can redirect you to where you can find a better suited sitter. Our priority is that you are stress-free and your sitter is best aligned to your needs!

What if my pet has an emergency while in your care?

Rest assured that your pet's well-being is of utmost importance to us. In the event of an emergency, Nicole will follow the instructions you provide during the booking process and contact you immediately. If necessary, veterinary care will be sought as specified.

What is the difference between pet boarding and pet sitting?

Pet boarding or pet hosting typically involves bringing your pet to a facility where they will be cared for in a communal setting with other animals, or, to a service provider’s own home. On the other hand, pet sitting with WOOFYWORLD offers a personalized and one-on-one care experience for your pet in the comfort of your home. At WOOFYWORLD, we ONLY provide pet sitting services at the pet owner’s home, ensuring your furry friend receives individual attention, a familiar environment, and the love they deserve while you're away.

How much does petsitting with WOOFYWORLD cost?

With WOOFYWORLD, petsitting is priced at $92 per night.

We try to keep things fair around here! During the inquiry process, we will discuss your departure and arrival times. If your dates are available, we aim to accommodate similar timing for both. However, in cases where a morning arrival is coupled with a departure in the afternoon (or similar) is requested, a half-day fee will apply.

What does the inquiry/booking process look like?

After reviewing pricing, FAQs, Terms and Availability, feel free to reach out to me, Nicole, the human behind WOOFYWORLD, through email, phone, text, inquiry form, or Facebook message! Once we determine your desired dates and confirm my availability, I'll send you the inquiry form to complete (if you haven’t already), allowing us to schedule a Meet & Greet.

Meet & Greets will be conducted in-person or via video call, depending on proximity. Written instructions left at home are highly appreciated, as they provide detailed guidance throughout the stay. To secure your booking, a 50% deposit is required within 2 days of inquiry/confirmed availability to hold your dates.

Then, sit back and relax.

We'll stay in touch leading up to your trip to discuss key arrangements and finalize our arrival plans. Invoices will be sent via email, and during the booking, communication will be primarily through text.

The remaining portion of your total will be due within 48 hours of the booking ending. A final invoice will be sent to you with any adjustments at this time.

We’ve had our meet & greet.. Can you come over to meet my pet again before the booking?

Typically one meet & greet is within the scope of a new booking for a new pet. We understand you may be nervous about leaving your pet with someone new. Rest assured your pet will be treated respectfully and gently, giving your pet what they need to gain trust and warm up. We’ll happily take on any added instructions and are happy to chat on the phone to ease any lingering concerns. However, if you are certain that you will require additional or follow-up meeting(s), prior to your booking commencing, you can request to schedule a check-in. This will incur an added cost of $35 per each 30 minutes, subject to availability.

What do I need to provide before the booking since WOOFYWORLD is coming to me?

Great question! Although we always go through the basics on our meet & greet, preparing essential information in writing is SUPER helpful to ensure your petsitter can adhere to your pet’s usual care routine. Please reiterate any specific and important information in writing prior to the sit either via email or leaving a physical note at home. This should include where you pets’ food is stored, when and how much they eat, any specifics on how appliances work, what night the bins go out, if you’re expecting any packages while you’re away, wifi password etc. When in doubt, over-communicate. In fact, it’s preferred! The more information is provided, more peace of mind we can give you eliminating any guesswork.

In terms of household items, please make sure you have the following:

  • A clean, made bed

  • A fresh bath towel

  • Toilet paper

  • Laundry detergent

  • A sturdy, well-fit harness or collar and leash for walks (or in case of emergencies)

  • Sufficient amount of pet food

  • Sufficient amount of doggy bags (if required)

  • Sufficient amount of kitty litter & litter box (if required)

  • Basic cleaning supplies such as (dishwashing tablets/liquid, multi-purpose cleaning spray, paper towel etc.) - we’ll give the kitchen and bathroom a quick wipe down before we go!
